Indian Association of Surgical Gastroenterology, conducts Annual Conference every year in the month of October. This annual event will focus on basic science, technique and technology, training and practice guidelines in the field of surgical gastroenterology. The event will be attended by around 1200 delegates from India and abroad.

The conference consists of Travel Bursary, PG Clinics and CME for the benefit of young GI Surgeons and trainees. Workshop / videos to demonstrate various technics and technical tips by eminent faculty. There will be debates, lectures, panel discussions and symposia. Delegates will present peer reviewed papers during the conference.

 

Mid Term CME shall be conducted by the members of IASG under the auspices of Indian Association of Surgical Gastroenterology. Usually members are encouraged to conduct two to three district level CMEs per year. The objective of the district level CME is to take the speciality of Surgical Gastroenterology to periphery. Financial assistance will be given for the district level CME on prior application and approval by Executive Committee and General Body.

 

PG Clinics shall be conducted by members of IASG under the auspices of Surgical Gastroenterology. Members are encouraged to conduct at least two PG Clinics per year. PG Clinics are conducted to help the residents, prepare for the final examination. These PG Clinics will be handled preferably by the faculty involved in teaching and training in Surgical Gastroenterology. No financial assistance will be provided by the association for the PG Clinics.
